Are CUTEK® timber oils wet stackable for easy precoating before construction?
Yes. Wood freshly coated with CUTEK® Extreme CD50 or CUTEK® Machine Coat/CUTEK® Machine Coat (Copper) can be installed straight away or block stacked wet for later use. It is generally not recommended to wet stack timber coated with CUTEK® timber oil where a CUTEK® Colourtone has been added as this may produce an inconsistent ‘smudged’ finish.
Can CUTEK® ECO be tinted with a CUTEK® Colourtone?
Yes, CUTEK® ECO can be tinted with a CUTEK® Colourtone and will offer a similar level of UV protection as with any of our other Colourtoned CUTEK® oils.
